To maximize the services we offer our clients, the CACT Program partners with many community and regional organizations such as CONNECT! Workforce & Business Solutions for Silicon Valley, California Employment Development Department (EDD), NOVA, Employment Training Panel (ETP) and Far West Regional Technology Transfer Center (RTTC) and 3D Systems . De Anza College, has a Advanced Manufacturing and Design Lab which CACT delivers courses with state-of-the-art computers and specialized equipment. The manufacturing and design lab is available for demonstrations, training, and student courses through CACT. We are also a member of The National Coalition of Advanced Technology Centers (NCATC) . The CACT Director, Paulette Young, serves on the NCATC Board of Directors.

CACT also partners with Stanford University, U.C. Berkeley, San Jose State University, the California Community College Economic Development Network (EdNet), and is a member of the National Coalition of Advanced Technology Centers.

The Center for Applied Competitive Technologies values its strong Industry Advisory Board composed of representatives of small and large manufacturing companies. The Board keeps the CACT Program aware of current and new technologies; and manufacturing and business trends and concerns. Board Partners are:

New Equipment Installed at De Anza College
In support of the college and its Manufacturing & Design Lab, CACT has purchased a Haas Vertical Machining Center and a 3D ThermoJet Printer to demonstrate state-of-the-art equipment which students have hands-on learning experience. Faculty was trained in the use and care of this equipment. The Center furthers the partnership between the college and area industry, which is vitally important to the economic growth and viability of our area.
